Job Description

Troubleshoots and repairs industrial machinery electrical systems, mechanical systems and electronic components.

Shift: Afternoon
Pay Rate: $21-$24/hour

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform equipment preventative maintenance activities
  • Troubleshoot machines and equipment breakdowns to diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems.
  • Disassemble and reassemble machines assemblies and sub-assemblies to perform repairs
  • Replace broken or defective machine and equipment parts
  • Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors and positions sensing devices.
  • Follow all applicable EHS, Quality and Food Safety procedures and protocols, and reports any incident to his/her supervisor.
  • Complete all EHS, Quality and Food Safety applicable training.
  • Support implementation of the Quality and Food Safety program and comply with the expectations if this role is included as part of the Food Safety or Internal Audit team.
  • Diagnose, repair and replace faulty electronic components such drives and PLCs
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A.S. Degree in Mechanical or Electronics Technology preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • 2 – 5 years industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
