• Pay Rate: $21.00
• Shift Premium Amount: $1.75

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs trouble shooting, calibration, and repair of production equipment as needed to always keep lines operational.
• Performs scheduled preventative maintenance to identify and replace failed components such as bearings, belts, motors, etc.
• Can read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Dismantles/disassembles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, using specifications and/or blueprints, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools.
• Calibrations and adjustments on various types of devices and production control systems.
• Understands facilities, mechanical/electrical systems and their component functions and relationships; and is competent in their troubleshooting and repair
• Assist other maintenance and production team members as required in support of plant goals.
• Equipment selection - able to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to perform the work

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Maintenance Program Certification or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance capacity in a production setting.
• Experience with at least 8/10 of the following skills: electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyers, hydraulics, and pumps.
• Installation, troubleshooting, repair knowledge of electrical systems including 240v and below
• Able to interface and cooperate well with production line workers and supervisors, with a strong customer service mindset.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel, Outlook)
• Manufacturing safety program familiarity (PPE, LOTO, Arc Flash)
• Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.
• Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
• Experience with plastic production equipment a plus.
• Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment preferred. 
• Experience with 480V electrical systems preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
• Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 50lbs.
• Eye/hand coordination.
