Job Description
Maintenance Technician (Industrial Maintenance / Manufacturing Equipment Technician) – Night Shift
Pay: $27-30 per hour
Shift: Night Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00AM)
Location: Manufacturing Facility – Climate Controlled
Position Summary
Sealed Air is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Industrial Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations, equipment reliability, and plant productivity. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Maintenance Technician works closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician, Lead Operator, and Plant Leadership to resolve equipment issues, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing equipment repair, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical systems maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, control panels, motors, sensors, and PLC-related components.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical equipment failures.
Rebuild, replace, and maintain machine components and assemblies.
Manufacturing Operations Support
Respond quickly to production issues impacting safety, quality, or productivity.
Support machine installation, relocation, and equipment upgrades.
Perform maintenance on auxiliary equipment and production support systems.
Participate in continuous improvement and equipment reliability projects.
Maintenance Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and work orders.
Follow plant safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and Arc Flash safety protocols.
Support compliance with facility safety, quality, and operational standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work collaboratively with production operators, maintenance teams, and plant leadership.
Contribute to a safe, team-oriented, and high-performance work environment.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Experience with electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting
Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
Technical training or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or Mechatronics
Experience with PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment
Knowledge of manufacturing maintenance best practices
