Join our team as a Plant Helper and play a key role in producing high-quality paper products that meet customer demand. Reporting to the Foremen, this entry-level manufacturing position offers on-the-job training, career growth opportunities, and hands-on experience with industrial equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare raw materials and parts by selecting, measuring, and assembling to production specifications.
• Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials and finished paper rolls.
• Assist in daily production processes, machinery operation, and packaging workflows.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production, machinery, and process issues efficiently.
• Follow established operating procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team and plant operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience, preferably in paper production or industrial manufacturing.
• Forklift certification or experience operating industrial forklifts.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for up to 6 hours per shift, and perform bending, lifting, and pushing tasks.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and team instructions.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• OSHA safety training or certification.
• Experience with production machinery and equipment maintenance.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma awareness.
• Forklift Operator Certification (preferred).
