Job Description

Position Summary:  
The National Account Specialist provides comprehensive support to National Account Managers, National, Cross Regional and Consumer Accounts.  This role focuses on pricing management, sales and equipment reporting, and administrative support to enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth. Primary responsibilities include managing vendavo deals, maintaining accurate pricing structures, and supporting cross-functional collaboration.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Maintain and manage accurate pricing within Vendavo, ensuring data integrity and consistency. 
•    Identify and eliminate inactive pricing deviations. 
•    Generate ad hoc sales and pricing reports using BI tools and Vendavo. 
•    Maintain and update customer and account information within SAP systems. 
•    Support Account Managers with RFQ documentation and vendor-related requests. 
•    Provide updated pricing reports to sales teams and distributors as requested. 
•    Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies for internal stakeholders, including Sales, Customer Service, Rebate Teams, and Distributors. 
•    Collaborate with internal contract teams to update pricing for index-based and contract accounts. 
•    Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Rebate Team, Deal Desk, Marketing, and plant personnel. 
•    Serve as a liaison between National Account Managers and distributors. 
•    Support special projects and participate in conference calls as needed. 
•    Manage Vendavo Deal Manager activities, including creating and revising deals and quotes for approval. 
•    Prepare and maintain documentation for equipment orders. 
•    Maintain customer master data in SAP C4C/MDG for equipment customers. 
•    Create and manage National and Cross-Regional account hierarchies in SAP. 
•    Process equipment orders, returns, and transfers within SAP. 
•    Cross-train with team members to ensure operational flexibility and coverage. 
•    Support miscellaneous tasks such as freight quoting, expediting shipments, and distributor portal documentation. 
•    Assist in the implementation of pricing adjustments, including increases and decreases. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 
•    Demonstrated leadership skills, including decision-making and coaching capabilities 
•    Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively 
•    Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy 
•    Highly organized and process-oriented 
•    Self-motivated with the ability to work independently 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree preferred 
•    Experience with Microsoft Office 365, SAP, Vendavo, and BI tools 
•    Strong analytical, mathematical, and product knowledge skills 
•    Prior customer service experience preferred
